Keep cancer at bay with Garlic and Onions

Thank god we have abundance of these bulbs in our kitchen, dont we. How are we to cook without these. Well, apart from making our food delicious, the latest news is that garlic and onions can help thwart cancer. Woohoo, all the more reason to eat them.

This study was carried out in Switzerland and Italy. Shows that people who consumed these two bulbs in large amounts shows a significant reduced risk of several kinds of cancer. Especially those who consume garlic more.

Now, we have more reason to cook more with these allium vegetables. Hurry up, go make yourself a garlic and onion with tomato sauce to go with pasta tonight for dinner. Dont forget to dribble some organic virgin olive oil onto it for added flavor and nutritional value.
