Vision Care Information

At one time about 2 years back, i had trouble with my vision. I was hooked to online games then and I was glued to the pc almost all day long. Didn’t even budge from my chair for fear I may lose a few points, how silly of me. At the end of the day, my eyes suffered as a result. I over-strained it and didn’t remove my contacts. Sitting in an air-conditioned environment all day long also contributed to the drying-out of my eyes’ natural lubricant. The result, severely dry-eyes with dying epithelial cells.
My doctor prescribed me some medication and eye drop and told me to stay off contacts for two months. TWO WHOLE MONTHS!!! Can you imagine what that can do to vain pot me? I had no choice but to listen to him, and apply my ointment religiously. I read from an online forum at aclens.com that it’s better to wear daily lenses compared to monthly ones. I was wearing monthly ones previously. I asked my doctor and he agreed saying for my condition, it’s best I switch to wearing daily lenses after my two months period as less handling means less contamination. He said Acuvue contact lenses would be a good choice.
