Foods rich in Lecithin

Over the last decade, Choline has been touted as key player in memory improvement, combating senility and boosting brain power. Choline is also a building block of acetylcholine, the chemical that nerve cells use in signalling. Low levels of acetylcholine have been linked to forgetfulness.

Lecithin is found in foods like eggs, soybean, peanuts, liver, wheatgerm, cauliflower, grape juice and cabbage. Eggs and cereals are also fortified with choline. Remeber to read the labels. It must have at least 65mg (15% od rdi) of choline to qualify as a good source.
