Nutritious Raisins

My kid loves raisins. Everytime we go shopping, i’m sure to pack a small container of raisins for him to snack on in his stroller.
Raisins are one of the most nutritious dried fruits. They are cholesterol-free, low in sodium and totally fat-free. They provide many necessary vitamins and minerals, including iron, potassium, calsium and certain B vitamins.

Raisins are also a good source of fibre and are rich in antioxidants. They are 70% pure fructose (a natural form of sugar) which can be easily digested to provide energy.
