Rock-a-bye-baby

Many of my friends have difficulty putting their baby to sleep. I have my fair share of nightmare when it comes to bedtime. Something i realised is that babies take at least 15 minutes to wind down. I dont agree with the cry-it-out method. I always believe that babies should feel secured all the time and not left to cry alone to sleep. That would make him feel insecure and unloved.

I co-sleep with my baby on my queen-sized bed without using a blanket or comforter. Breastfeeding moms will have less problems putting their babies to sleep as compared to moms who dont. The best method by far is still to nurse baby to sleep. Moms who dont can use a method that’s comfortable to both mother and baby and stick with it. Be consistent. Babies love routine. By sticking to one method, baby will soon know that it’s bedtime.
