Soybeans

Soy is a popular brain food as it’s packed with protein that triggers neurotransmitters associated with memory. It’s most potent in its supplement form as it contains the soy protein, a highly concentrated extract of soybeans. Soy is the main source of the brain booster phosphatidyl serine. It helps build healthy new brain cells and stimulates the production of nonrepinephrine (the memory hormone), serotonin (the feelgood hormone) and dopamine (the intelligence hormone). Many traditional chinese prescriptions to improve brain and memory function also contains soy proteins.
