Can i pluck my white hair?

I’ve always had this fear since i was young that if i pluck my white hair, another 3 will grow in its place, lol. I dont know who told me this. So, is it true? Will you pluck your white hair cause it looks out of place? I will, and i do that a lot :O

I have very thick and curly. And also a lot of white hair; most hidden by the bulk of my mane. But ifi were to lift it up section by section, i can see that i do indeed have quite a fair bit of whites amongst the black. White hair is a result of a mulfunction of melanocytes 9pigment-producing cells). It’s in no way associated with hair growth at all. Therefore, hairmyth debunked. Plucking a strand WILL NOT stimulate another 3 to grow in its place.
