What’s wrong with my medication?

When your prescription medications doesnt seem to work, it’s time to take note of what you down it with. It could be thr wrong fluid. Let’s check out the few common no-nos:

1) Coffee/tea/soda - These contain caffeine and if you are on painkillers orasthma relief meds, the mixture can cause acidity levels to rise resulting in gastritis or heartburn

2) Alcohol - This should be avoided at all cause. In forms such as beer, wine or cocktails. Alcohol affects your spleen and liver, and they always render your meds useless.

3) Fruit juices - Thes are highly acidic drinks. And if you are on meds like antidepressants, they wont work.

Therefore, stay away from these drinks when on medication. Best fluid to take them with is still a glass of plain water.
