More rest

I’m still sporting a headache now. Stubborn me refuse to take an aspirin and wanted to let it subside on its own. Sigh…. must be those sleepless nights catching up on me. And i can almost tell my period’s about to come too as i have backache when i wake up. Am i getting old? Hormone all screwing up? And oh yes, breaking out too, wtf. But i guess the best remedy for all this is rest, and lots of it. I’ve not really rested for more than a year.

Spoke too soon

I was just about to check out the recruitment company my friend told me about when my baby stirred. He wanted to nurse and i took a 15 minute recess. He’s back in deep slumber listening to Josh Groban again, lol. Coming back to the recruitment company. My friend told me they helped her find some risk management jobs openings for her husband. She recommended that my hubby check with them as he’s looking for some candidates for his company right now. I hope he has luck getting the right people this time. Christmas is fast approaching and he needs all the help he can to get his promotion going.

Almond drink

I drink this once in a while. It’s an acquired taste. Most of friends dont like the taste, but i love it. If only it doesnt have sugar in it, it’ll be much better. But what do you expect for Rm9 per can, right. Almonds are high in calcium, good for my bones. Have you tried this before. Available at most chinese medical halls.

Josh Groban for my light-sleeper

I finally found out what works best for my light-sleeper. I play Josh Groban one night on my Nokia N73 music edition and he slept through the night. Really it works. I used to play nursery rhymes and he doesnt quite like it. I thought it’s because of the squeaky noise towards the end of the playlist, but it’s not. It took me so many months to finally find something that can get him to sleep so soundly. I hope this works forever.

Are you a wine-lover?

I had a great time at a wine tasting event earlier this evening. Hubby suggested that we get hold of a few crates of good wine as the festive celebrations are fast approaching. Moreover, we both love to enjoy a glass of good wine over dinner once in while, especially on the night when i’m in the mood to cook. According to scientific researches, wine is good for the hear.

I got to know about this wine of the month club from a wine-lover friend of mine. She says she’s a member of this Gold Medal Wine Club, they deliver two bottles of their specially hand-picked outstanding wines each month. She says its’ much better as these wines are from an ultra-premium vineyards and they are among the best in the world. Hubby told me to give their Gold Series a try first and if they are really that good, we’ll upgrade to their Platinum or Diamond Series later. This is indeed one of the most convenient way to try good wines all year round. You may want to give it a try too.

Invitation cards

My friend asked me if it’s a good idea to design her own wedding invitation cards or not. I told her if she has the time, she can go ahead with it. If not, buying them in bulk will be a good idea too. There are plenty of cards to choose from these days for those who likes convenience. Like first communion invitations, wedding invitations, birthday invitations, you name it, they’ve got it. I used to design a lot of invitation cards too when i was younger. Not now. I no longer have the time to do all that. Too busy with works and kids.

Is hydroxycut safe?

My sister-in-law keep telling me about the bottle of hydroxycut her friend gave her and says she wants to give it a try. She’s been trying to lose weight and tried many ways. Nothing worked on her. I told her i’ve not heard of it before and she’d better check it out properly before taking it. But i told her she’ll lose it all if she goes on a diet of organic fruits and vegetables and ditch the red meat. Fish is good but she doesnt like it, too bad. It’s better to lose weight slowly with a good exercise regime and diet. But i’ll leave that up to her to decide.

My neck’s hurting bad

My neck pain isnt showing signs of improvement. It’s all the way down to my shoulder blades now and hurts even when i sleep. It hurts when i change position. It hurts when i get up from bed. It hurts when i need to change my tee. It hurts when i turn my head. It hurts when i tilt my head. It just hurts damn bad. I’m in a bad mood now. Hubby can forget about his world series tickets. I dont feel like sitting at the pc now. He can very well get his friends to get them for him when they buy them from TicketsNow.com. I heard it’s the Internet’s best source for World Series tickets. If you’ve not bought yours, you may want to check the link out

Sleep all day

I spent the whole of today doing practically nothing constructive. I played computer games for hours on end. I slept. I ate. I just lazed around all day long. My kids stuck to me like glue, and i like it very much. I havent really spent much time playing with them for more than a year since this frenzied blogging activity of mine. Gee… looking back, i dont know to say i’m proud of my own achievement or not. But i guess, i’m still doing okay with them. Time for work to start soon and i dont feel like it. Sigh…. i’ll laze some more, lol.

Do you wear Crocs?

I’m going to buy another pair of new Crocs when i go to the mall. They are by far the most comfortable shoes i’ve ever worn. Oh yes, they do look weird but who cares. I want comfort over everything else. I’ll buy their Mary-Janes this time. Hope they have it in RED. I cant be wearing heels or platform shoes everyday, right. Those shoes will give me a backache if worn for long periods of time. But i dont mind wearing them once in while to functions or important events though.
