Sugar free chocolate

It’s difficult for diabetics to get a good choc to munch on due to their high sugar content. Here’s one that i found. It’s the Danson Klose Sugar Free Chocolate, a Belgian chocolate that contains no sugar. What makes it sweet is a sugar substitute called Maltinol. It’s 90% sweeter compared to natural sugar. What makes it different is its energetic value is 40% less than standard sugar. It is therefore capable of controlling weight as it is lower in calories. Maltinol does not require insulin to digest nor does it cause a significant increase in serum glucose level.
