Tips for detox
Detox Tips:
1) During detox, try to eat a generous amount of garlic, onions and leeks. These foods are excellent sources of sulfur compounds that help in detoxification.
2) Avoid alcohol, tobacco, sugar and caffeine during periods when your liver is under stress. These substances can quickly deplete your body’s natural detoxifiers.
3) It is important to drink at least eight to ten glasses of water when following a detox diet. This helps the kidneys to flush out the toxins from your body.
4) Exercise releases the excess toxin through sweat and burns toxin-storing body fats. (But beware, excessive exercise may also cause toxin build-up.)
