Check out this useful free medical application for Blackberry

I was pretty surprised to note that my doctor is not as old-fashioned as i thought he is. When i visited him for a routine check up the other day, i saw him using a cool new PDA phone. He says it’s the latest Blackberry and he even has this free medical applications for blackberry installed onto it. It’s the Epocrates medical reference software, which is now used by over 500,000 healthcare professionals.

With the help of Epocrates’ drug guide loaded on their PDA or smartphone, doctors can have loads of useful information like drug dosage and interactions at the fingertips. Important when they need to make prescribing decisions.
