Hubby may need hair transplants soon

Have you ever wondered if plucking white hair will cause more to grow in its place? I have a lot of white hair all over my head and used to pluck my white hair as they grow out. To me, this is faster than dyeing them, lol. But certainly not a permanent solution to white hair. I’ve asked my hairdresser this question many times over. He says if i continue to pluck white hairs over and over again, especially at the same place, it may cause permanent balding. This is also known as traction alopecia.

I may not notice it at first, but sooner or later, hair will stop growing and leave a permanent bald patch where they once were. If that’s the case, i may have to resort to hair transplants to cover the bald patch up one day. I’ve been to hair transplants centers before and they do the job pretty well. Hair transplant cost is rather high as far as i know. I personally feel that if hair transplant surgery can cover up bald patches well, i’d still go for it. I may have a headful of hair now, but who knows. Twenty thirty years down the road, and at the rate they drop off, i may end up with barely enough to keep my head warm, lol.

One thing to note is white hair is more of a genetic cause more than anything else. Some say it’s due to stress. But as far as i know, it’s more due to lack a certain nutrients and genetic factors that contributes to the white hair and also balding. Hubby’s hair loss rate faster than me. Does that mean he needs hair transplants later on. Well, if we have the money, i’d ask him to go for celebrity hair transplants. Nothing beats having a head full of hair to make you look young.
