How safe is Lasik?

Let me give one simple reason as to why i want to have Lasik done for both my eyes. I have a feeling my pair of glasses is giving my eyes an odd shape after wearing it for some time. It’s a pair of metal rimmed glasses and quite heavy by my standards. I used to wear rimless glasses but with kids around, they are far too fragile and breaks easily.

They are bigger now and i think it’s also time i reconsider Lasik as a solution to eyesight correction. I dont fancy contacts as they make my eyes dry. I cant wear glasses as i cant stand their weight. Lasik is still an option to me as far as my eyes are concerned. Anyone had Lasik here? How safe is Lasik? Care to share your experiences?
