The difference between dental insurance and discount dental plans

Sara’s mom just got back from her visit to the dentist and was complaining that he just raised his fees by another 10%. It was only about ten months ago since her last visit there. She used to have one of those traditional dental insurance but did not renew it. She has claimed on it before and only got to know that there are now many exclusions and deductibles if she intends to get it renewed.

I told her about those comprehensive discount dental plans and how different they are from those dental insurance. She was wondering why she never heard of it before. She now wants to get one quickly as she visits her dentist every 6 months for check ups. She’s very particular of her teeth and knows that they are closely related to her overall wellbeing. Well, she can always get her discount dental plan online these days.
