Organic Parade

We buy a lot of health supplements each month. Hubby travels very often and he takes his vitamins and health supplements with him all the time. He ran out of some vitamins last week and went to get them from a pharmacy near his hotel. He was surprised that the salesgirl there didnt know her product well and handed him the wrong item. Hubby did not bother to correct her as he felt that it’s not his responsibility to do so. He just took what he needed and left the pharmacy. The girl is seriously in need of some product and sales training. I wonder which company she’s from. I feel like shooting them an email now.

My sil left our house barely an hour ago. She’s back here again with her kid wailing at the top of his lungs. The front of his tuxedo shirt is dirty with black stains all over. They were supposed to be at a wedding event. My MIL asked her what happened and she says her kid was too excited when they arrived and fell down the drain when they got off the car. He’s lucky it’s only a shallow drain and he didnt hurt himself much. He doesnt want to go home and insists on coming over. I gave him some butter cake and he’s eating it now. Hope he gets over the ordeal soon, poor thing. I guess he’ll need another tuxedo shirt soon. I found a place where my sil can buy him another. How was your weekend. I had a great one. Hubby came back and took the kids and i out for four straight days. I always tell him to try and plan his work schedule so that he can be home during weekends. It doesnt happen often but when he’s around, i make sure the kids and both of us enjoy it together it happily. He bought something for the kids and i last week. There were two shirts for each boy, and i received a new watch from him. Isnt my man sweet. He may be busy working, but seeing the gifts reminds us that he’s thinking of us even though he’s not around.

Last weekend, we went out for lunch at the mall. I knew he likes the silver bracelet at Fossil and i bought that for him. He was so happy that he wore it immediately. This is one way we foster a good husband and wife relationship. The gift need not be an expensive item. It’s the thought that counts. My cousin’s hubby has a different way of showing how he cares for the family. He bought everyone in the family term life insurance recently. He always tells my cousin not to worry should he dies unexpectedly. Life is unpredictable. He only wants them to go on living without financial difficulty. That’s very caring of him, huh.

Do you prefer to sleep in the dark, or in a dimly lit room? I prefer to sleep with the lights on. I have kids who may wake up in the middle of the night. Sometimes, i need to leave the room to get them water and such. If the light is not turned on, i may stumble about the room in the dark. I just finished brunch. I woke up quite late this morning as i went to bed at around 5am. I was watching some movies online. It’s a very exciting movie. I had my headphones on so as not to wake my kids up. They are both having fun playing by themselves now. One is lining up his cars at the table. The other is watching Ratatouille on TV. This leaves me with some time to check out these diet pill reviews in peace. A friend would like to buy some and needed some information on which one will work for her. Well, i think i’ll just forward her the link and ask her to go read them up later on. Gotta go. Bath time!!!

Hubby’s uncle died of lung cancer recently. He was 68. I didnt even know that he had cancer until my mother-in-law told me about it. According to hubby’s aunt, his late uncle knew he had lung cancer about six months ago. He’s been to a few doctors but decided not to undergo any form of treatment for lung cancer at all. His late uncle was a bachelor and also a very quiet man. Even though he had lung cancer, he still went about his work just like any normal person. It was only until the last few weeks of his life that he laid in a hospital bed.

My father-in-law and his siblings carried out a simple funeral for him. Hubby’s late uncle didnt buy any life insurance when he was still alive. Each time someone talks to him about insurance, he will shoo him away. If he had some form of insurance, he would have left something behind. I think the reason he doesnt want to buy insurance  is because he’s single and has no one to leave it to. Whatever it is, he’s gone now and he’s lucky to have so many sibling to send him off on his final journey.i bought insurance as i want my kids to have something when idie one day. We spent the afternoon at the mall after sending the kids to school. I bought a book with a CD for my kids, whilst hubby checked out the magazine Rack. He was browsing through a car magazine and i asked him if he saw anything that he likes or not. He told me even if he likes it, i certainly wont. He found a cool RV, lol!!! He’s so right.
