I’m going to buy myself the whole range of Hada Labo facial products next week. My current products are almost down to the last few uses. I’m currently using Hada Labo Lotion and it works well in replenishing my face’s moisture level. I heard that Hada Labo has a few new products in their line. Hyaluronic Acid is a very effective ingredient in Hada Labo. Love it cos it’s unscented and colorless. Well, i cant wait for weekend to come. My face will love it.

Buy Organic Sunscreen Online

I’ll have to buy myself another bottle of organic sunscreen. The one i’m using is almost finished. My friend told me to buy the one she’s using, but then, it’s not organic. No matter how good she says it is, i will still stick with the organic sunscreen that’s been protecting my skin from the harsh rays of the sun. If i cant get it from my usual organic store, i can always buy organic sunscreen online.

Does Hadalabo Work?

I’ve been using Hadalabo for about a month now. My friend was skeptical as to how a bottle of liquid that has no smell can do wonders for the skin. I told her i’ll be the guinea pig and she can come see and feel the difference on my face. She doesnt have long to wait as by the third day, i’ve already noticed a tremendous change in my face.

I used to have lots of fine lines running from the outer corners of my eyes down to the middle of my face. But i no longer see them now. I guess my face has plumped up after applying Hadalabo to it. I even apply them to the back of my hands. They are also benefiting from the hydration properties of Hadalabo.

So, to the question on “Does Hadalabo Work?”, i can firmly tell you, “YES”!!! I’m one satisfied Hadalabo user. I know the range also has some cleansers and also whitening products. I might just buy them back once my current supplies runs out. Hadalabo…. thank you for making my skin soft and hydrated once again.

Reverse The Signs Of Ageing With HGH

I seldom buy beauty magazines these days. Almost every page i flip is selling anti-aging products. I know i’m not young, but i dont have to be reminded i need to apply anti-wrinkle cream, vitamin C serum nor eye gels that promise to erase every single fine line around it. Lately, the rage is about human growth hormone supplements. It’s actually not new as MLM companies have been selling it for years. Just that it’s more readily available over the counter these days. Sure or not, i can reverse all the signs of aging with HGH? Aitelyu, if it can turn every single strand of my white hair black again, i’ll buy every single bottle off the shelf, LOL!!!!

Stress Acne

If you’ve not suffered from acne before, then chances are, you wont understand how it feels like to look into the mirror each morning. To be honest with you, i dread it. The sight of those bumps on my face can make me depressed. Not to mention the itch and pain that comes and goes as they please. The kind of acne i’m suffering from is stress acne. According to my beautician friend, it’s one of the most difficult kind of acne to treat as its underlying cause is stress. I have to calm down a lot and take things more easily to keep my body from releasing stress hormones that causes flare ups. If not, even the best acne gel is rendered useless in my case. In a way, my acne is getting better by the day since i figure out its cause. It’s true. I gotta stay calm a lot. Not easy, but i’m getting there.

Pearly Skin – Beauty From Within

Hubby brought back a box of Pearly Skin supplements for me recently. He told me it’ll help heal the acne on my face from within. Moreover, it’ll promote good overall skin health as all the ingredients in it are specifically targeted towards the skin. After taking it for a month, i noticed that my skin condition is definitely better. The acne on my face has dried out and nothing new is sprouting. Both my hands are now smoother to the touch and has a pearly glow too. Hubby asked me to continue taking it for at least another two to three months to see good results. I will, and i hope he continues to buy it back for me, lol!!!!

Read The Label Before Buying Organic Products

My facial cleanser is running out soon and as it’s the weekend, i went to the mall to replenish my supply. I’m currently using Body Shop’s Vitamin E range of skincare. It’s good and doesnt irritate my dry skin. As i walked past TNS, which is just next to Body Shop, and saw their promotion for a new range of organic skincare. Well, being the organic freak, i went in to check it out.

It’s another major disappointment for me as it turns out to be another product claiming to be an full organic range. It’s not a “certified organic” product at all. The label at the back of the product listed a zillion chemicals on it with just the main ingredient being derived from organic produce. It’s not the same as a fully certified organic product and i left the shop.

I’ve used Paul Pender’s before and that’s a range of fully certified organic skincare and bodycare product. It’s just that i got bored with it and wanted something different. Sad to say, the market is still full of crappy “so-claimed” organic products, just out to fool consumers into paying more for the same chemical warfare.

Well, be sure to check the label before buying any products labeled as organic. Do your homework and learn to tell the difference between a real “certified organic” product from the fake ones. It should carry the “USDA Certified” stamp of approval.

Back To Using Natural Facial Cleanser

I’ve stopped using chemical products on my face since my last acne attack in mid-August. I only cleanse my face with a mild natural facial cleanser each day. Then, spray it with Avene spring water. I feel its best to let the skin breathe than cover it with a moisturiser. I stay home all the time, so, i can keep spraying my face as and when i feel like it. It’s getting better by the day and i hope by end of this year, all the acne scars would have faded. My cleanser is about to finish and i’ll have to go out and buy another bottle this weekend when i go to my sis to take a look at her new pair of Naot. She says it’s a very comfortable pair of shoes. Me, i’m a die-hard Crocs fan. Let’s see if it’s more comfortable than my Crocs or not, lol!!!!

Tips For Long Lasting Summer Nail Polish

Warm weather is here, and that means most of us will be wearing nail polish more often to show off our hands and feet. The barer summer clothes and sandals mean your feet and hands will be center stage, so putting a few extra minutes into proper nail care is must for the prettiest looks. Whether you are applying nail polish to your hands or toes, the basic principles to make your manicure or pedicure last are the same.

1. Prepare your nails properly before polishing. Nail polish won’t adhere well to nails that are dirty or oily. Wash your hands thoroughly to remove any lotions, dirt or oils, and then brush each nail with a bit of nail polish remover. This will remove all oils from the nail itself and prepare it for accepting polish.

2. Lightly buff your nails and file off any rough edges. Polish will be more apt to peeling and flaking if the nails are rough around the edges or have ridges in them. Filing and buffing gives a smoother surface so that polish won’t flake.

3. Select the right polish. Did you know that nail polish expires? Most brands will only last about a year before they become thicker and start to clump. Polish that’s too thick will go on thicker and won’t dry well, leading to more chance of smearing or smudging. Most nail polish formulas are similar and will last nearly a week, but fast drying formulas are an exception. The extra ingredients that grant fast drying polishes to set so quickly also makes them peel more swiftly, so try to avoid fast-dry formulas unless you absolutely have to use them. The extra few minutes spent drying a standard nail polish will be well worth it if your manicure lasts days longer.

4. Care for your polish properly. Summer weather is especially tough on nail polish – the high temperatures can cause polish to separate and the color to change. To keep your nail polish in top condition, refrigerate it in the summer. You should also clean the polish bottle carefully after each use by wiping the outside edge of the bottle with a cotton ball soaked in nail polish remover to keep the bottle from sticking shut. Finally, be sure that you gently blend the nail polish before applying by rolling the bottle between your hands. Shaking a bottle of polish will create air bubbles in the polish that can cause bumps and clumps when you apply it – guaranteed to shorten the life span of your manicure or pedicure.

5. Use a base coat and top coat. It takes a bit more time to do a complete manicure rather than just throwing on some polish, but its well worth the effort. After your nails are clean, be sure to apply a base coat; this product prepares the nail for polish and gives nail polish something to cling to so that it lasts longer. Follow this with two thin coats of polish in the desired color, and then finish off with a quality top coat. When you apply the top coat, be sure to run the brush horizontally across the tip of the nail with a bit of it going under the edge of the nail. This will help prevent peeling and seals the manicure properly.

6. Don’t rush things. Be sure to let your nails dry five to ten minutes between each coat. If the coat below isn’t absolutely dry before you add the next one, your nails won’t dry properly for quite a while, leading to chips and smudges. If you’re in a rush or simply impatient, plunge your nails into ice water for a few seconds between coats – this will swiftly dry and seal the polish.

Enjoy your beautifully painted, long lasting nails! Remember not to open soda cans or pick at envelopes with your freshly painted nails. Using your nails as tools won’t help you keep your nail polish fresh at all!

Threading Hair Removal Facts

Threading is a lesser known but effective method of hair removal that is kinder to the skin than many other procedures. It is a very economical and effective way of keeping the facial areas and eyebrows clean and free of unwanted body hair.

What’s threading?

Threading is an ancient method of hair removal still used in many countries in the Middle East as well as India and Pakistan. It is used to give clean lines and good shape to the eyebrows and also remove hair from the upper lip and other facial areas.

How does threading work?

100% cotton thread is twisted and rolled along the surface of the skin entwining the hair in the thread which is then lifted out from the follicle.

How long before hair returns after threading?

About the same as with tweezing, anywhere between 3 and 8 weeks.

How does threading affect the skin?

The effects of threading are less than with other hair removal methods such as tweezing, waxing or sugaring. The skin might get a little red and sore but only a slight pinch is felt as a relatively huge area is covered each time.

Unlike waxing or the use of depilatories, irritation and skin rashes are avoided with threading as the top layer of dead skin isn’t stripped off in the process.

Where can I find cosmeticians skilled in threading?

Check your local Yellow Pages and look for beauty parlors in areas settled by people from the Indian subcontinent or Middle East as threading is still commonly used in these countries.

How To Prevent Razor Burn

Razor burn is caused by hair that is pushed back into the follicle. It can become inflamed and then develop into an ingrown hair.

Use these seven suggestions to minimize the risk of razor burn:

#1 Use a clean, sharp razor each time

#2 Always shave in the direction of the hair growth

#3 Shave after your shower

#4 For some using a shaving oil or gel rather than a cream helps avoid clogging the pores (For others a cream works better -experimentation may be needed)

#5 Avoid passing the razor over the same area numerous times

#6. If razor burn appears, apply an aloe-vera based cortisone cream twice a day to soothe the skin and reduce redness.

#7. Use Ingrown Hair Treatment to treat or prevent ingrown hairs when shaving and eliminate razor burn.

Additional shaving tips:

Avoid shaving when first getting up after sleep as body fluids make the skin puffy making it more difficult to shave the hair. After 20 or 30 minutes the skin becomes more taut so the hair shaft is more exposed making it easier.

Don’t stay in the bath too long before shaving. The skin will shrivel after eight minutes or so making it difficult to get a smooth, close shave.

The more repeat strokes over an area of skin the greater risk of irritation. To remove stray hairs which are not removed after one or two passes with the razor, use a pop-up trimmer.

Teenagers and ance

Teenage years can be the happiest time of one’s life. It can also be tough on some as it’s the age when hormonal changes affects a lot of things. take acne for example. A lot of my friends with teenagers cite acne as one of the major problems affecting their kids. I never had acne during my teenage years. Could be due to today’s lifestyle and diet? Anyway, i believe acne should not mar a kid’s teen aged years. Why not try using a acne treatment cream and see if it helps lessen the problem. But for long term sake, do opt for a lifestyle and diet change. Eat more organic fruits and vegetables, less meat and exercise more is the key to healthy skin.
