Cosmetic surgical procedures like rhinoplasty in Orlando is common these days. Rhinoplasty is now designed to improve your individual nose and achieve a natural looking result that is right for your face. It’s no longer a one-size-fits-all routine like it once was. The hallmark of a great rhinoplasty is one that is hardly noticeable at all after the procedure.

I have a 42 year old relative whose nose had bothered her for most of her adult life. She was concerned that a new nose wouldnt look natural on her. She underwent open-structure rhinoplasty and after two months, her nose look aesthetically pleasing and she is more than happy. Said it had given her a new sense of self-confidence she never knew existed before.

My second baby was born with a pointed right ear. To me, it’s not very obvious. During CNY, some relatives commented on his odd shaped ear and told me i can have the condition corrected by ear surgery, also known as otoplasty. Reason being to spare him from being ridiculed in school next time. Give me a break. Only nosy people who has nothing better to do will pin-point and suggest such a thing.

Now, why would i want to subject my young baby to such a procedure. It’s not that his ears are huge like an elephant’s or Mickey Mouse’s. If it’s like that, i might consider. But then it’s not. I dont think he’ll get ridiculed in school next time just because of that slightly pointed ear. To me, that’s more like an identity rather than a birth defect.
