Organic Parade

Our television set gave up on us on Saturday. It’s an old CRT set which i bought more than 20 years ago, lol. I’ve repaired it quite a few times already and frankly speaking, i’m getting tired of it. Hubby says why not replace it with a flat panel tv and at the same time, give our living room a complete makeover. Yes, i like his suggestion very much.

I’ve been pestering him to get us one of those Berkline home theater seating to replace those old couches. They are so modern, sure to complement our new sleek flat panel tv. I can then enjoy watching Astro and playing with my PS3 again without getting a backache from those old couches that lack back support. I dont mind buying one if i see a place selling it here..

My aunt called and ranted just now. She got word that her assistant got promoted to Manager level instead of her even though she’s been with the company much longer. I told her that if she wants to advance in her career, she’d better do something about her academic qualifications. Her assistant may be younger and has less experience, but she has the qualifications for career advancement opportunities.

My aunt said she doesnt have time to go back to college for a degree. Nowadays, there are online universities that offer college degree programs at top schools, such as Capella University. She can pursue bachelor’s degree programs like accounting, business administration, finance, human resources management, or even management and leadership. She’d better hurry and apply for a course and get the degree and qualifications needed for her future career advancement.
