After a week of running up and down due to the new school term, i can say i’m really half dead now. It’s Friday and for the first time in my life, i’m looking forward to it, lol. I used to dread weekends, but not this week. I just want to rot at home for two whole days cos after that, the daily grind of waking up at 7am starts again. Wont get to hit the sack till it’s at least 9.30pm…..
I was just about to head to bed when an email came in telling me how screwed the political scene in Perak is now. Who cares about politics when it does nothing to help with my online earnings. I’ve been in debt for a long time and if i were to focus on nothing but the daily political happenings around me, who’s gonna pay my loans for me? I am just but a few months away from being a debt-free person. I only know that i still need to make sure money keeps coming in whether it rains or shines. I NEED TO FOCUS. I know that the moment all my debt is cleared, my mind will be cleared, my shoulders will be burden-free, and i can sleep in peace. So, leave me alone and stop sending those useless emails, geddit.
I just read this latest Tsunami Alert. Will be canceling my trip to Penang this weekend. I know my friends there are disappointed but this cannot be helped. Hubby is relieved that he doesnt have to worry about my safety too. He wont be home so soon though he’s back in the country. The kids miss him like crazy and Papa Withdrawal Symptoms are still in place, lol. Just gotta make do with phonecalls for the time being till next week.
I’ve somehow come to understand the angst felt by those trying to lose weight. I’ve been eating a lot lately. This resulted in me having a bulge in front of me. I went shopping the other day and found that i can no longer fit into my regular sizes, GASP!!!!!! I even spotted cellulite at the back of my thighs when i looked at myself in the mirror. HORRIBLE!!!!!! MAJOR DISASTER!!!!! This is so not happening to me, man. Gotta stopped all the non-stop eating and get back onto the Wiifit!!!!
I used to hear people saying that as one grows old, one becomes senile. So, how far true can that be? Let me tell you this, it can be quite true. You see, someone apparently used a plastic steaming rack with the wok and caused it to melt. And this someone is more than 60 years old. And this someone has been cooking forever. How can that someone not know that plastic will melt inside the wok? If not for senility, i dont have another word for it. And just in case you dont know, the plastic steamer rack is the kind that came with the rice cooker. And it’s to be used with the rice cooker and nothing but the rice cooker, period.
One of the best mind-challenging games i play everyday is Sudoku. I’m no math genius but i do make it a point ot play a few rounds of Sudoku each day. It’s not easy at first but it gets easier with each session. I’m getting better and faster at completing the puzzles. If you’ve not played Sudoku before, i suggest you go give it a try. You’ll soon be addicted to it.
I just found out from hubby that baby’s daycare is closing at 4.30 afterwards. That leaves me with less than an hour to get my work done. It’s the last day of 2008, and i hope i can finish everything up. Dont want to carry forward anything if possible. I think i can only manage with one network. The rest, let’s see how as they arent due yet. I still have 10 hours left to get those submitted intime for USA’s year end closing, lol. Oooop, gotta get back to work first. Any plans for tonight?
I had a quiet evening to myself just now. Hubby took our two years old toddler out with him to a friend’s birthday party and left the big kid with me. So, for the rest of the evening, i sat at my pc blogging away, whilst my kid watched his favorite Dvds and did some coloring on his work books.
By the time hubby got back home, baby was already very sleepy and wanted to nurse. Of course, i obliged. I know i dont have ti lie in bed with that sleepyhead for longand i was so right, lol. He fell asleep in less than 10 minutes time. They are all asleep now and the room is so quiet. I think i’m gonna call it a night and put my pc to sleep too 
I’ve been having this nagging headache for days on end. It comes in the afternoon and all i want to do is lie down and sleep. Not that sleep comes easy these days too. A friend suggested i wear one of these magnetic bracelet and see if it helps relive the pain or not. I need some feedback on this. Anyone wore one of these magnetic bracelets before? Does it help relive headaches? Please let me know.
I blogged about having itchy bite marks a few posts earlier, right. Here are those bite marks. Any idea what caused them. Though they no longer itch, the marks take quite some time to disappear. I have more all over one side of my body. A few random ones on my legs and other hand too. Do you think these are scabies bite marks?
The weather’s been good of late. There’s rain almost every evening. I like it when it rains. Reason being, i have all the reason to not go out and spend money. It’s getting costly just to leave the house. I may end up 100 bucks poorer with each outing. Anyway, there’s one thing that makes rainy season a nightmare here. And it’s mosquitoes. Each time after the rain stops, my house is filled with them blardy mozzies.
They can be found all over the house. My room is not entirely free from mosquitoes. I have a door with netting that prevents mosquitoes from flying into the room. It helps a lot but each time someone leaves or enter the room, one or two may get inside if they happen to be nearby. I have to wear my long pants at home these days. No choice. It’s either that or get bitten all over. That reminds me to go buy an organic mosquito repellent back for my kids.
I’m in a very bad mood today. I suspect it’s due to PMS. I took the afternoon off blogging and went back to my mom’s house. My dad is recuperating after his operation and i’m glad that he’s fine. He’ll be going for another check up next Tuesday. Hope the doctor gives him a clean bill of health. I left some nutritional supplements with my mom and told her to give them to my dad. It’ll help with his recovery process.
My last bag of Revolution Tropical Green Tea. I gift from a good friend when she came back for a visit. I love the taste of Revolution Tropical Green Tea. My friends over at the Big Apple called to let me know how much they are enjoying their long weekend off. It’s the 4th of July yesterday and it’s a Friday too. Most of them are taking advantage of the long weekend to do some traveling. How i wish i can join them.
Jules told me he bought a GPS system for his car recently and plans to test it out this weekend. My N82 is equipped with GPS too. It’s pretty useless to me as i seldom drive, lol. One day…. wait till i buy my own car first. I’ll definitely test mine out by doing some traveling too.
My aunt called to let us know my uncle hurt his arm again. He has gone to see his doctor and for the fourth time, he told him not to move it. Actually, both my uncle and aunt are in the midst of moving their belongings over to their new place. They sold their old house and the new owners are moving in next week.
They should have called a New York Moving Company to help them move their furniture over but my uncle is stubborn. He thought he can do it all by himself. See what happened now. He wont be able to do much except sit down quietly. My cousins have been informed and they have gone over to help their parents out. Well, hope his arm recovers soon.
