After at Starbucks

It’s the last day of my kid’s school break and he still hasnt finished his homework yet. Hubby wants to take them to the mall. I told him i’ll bring along his homework and we can all have fun and get things done at the same time. If not, i may have to spend some stressful time once back home trying to get him to sit down and do his writing and maths. You know kids, after having so much fun, homework isnt appealing at all, blekkkkk.

Everywhere is jam packed during the weekends and it’s hard to find a nice table to work at. But i was lucky to find one at Starbucks. I dont like sitting on the couches as those coffee tables are far too low and hurts my back. I’m only having a cup of Mint Tea now as i had lunch earlier elsewhere. I enjoy relaxing here in the hot afternoons. Think i should really do more of this instead of holed up in my bedroom all the time.

Go on a vacation and win a prize this Summer

Vacation is really good for the spirit and mind. In fact, i just got back from a week-long vacation with my family. I just uploaded my photos to the computer and having fun going through them with my kids. It reminds us of the fun we had playing all day long. We also enjoyed dining out all the time. Of cos, back, i’ve got to cook, lol.

I was chatting with my friend all about my vacation when she told me about her Summer vacation at Cape Cod and the WeNeedaVacation.com’s Summer Photo Contest! All she needed to do is to submit a photo that best captures the “spirit of vacation” to them. If she wins the Grand Prize, it’s gonna be a $1,000 credit that can be applied towards a future vacation rental booked through WeNeedaVacation.com.

She’s selecting hers as the contest runs from June 23 to September 3, 2007. I really hope that she will win the Grand Prize of $1000. How i wish i went there for my Summer vacation. But hey, it’s still Summer…… i can still book another vacation through Destin vacation rentals. I’m so gonna bug hubby to take me for another vacation again.

DIY Hand Massage

Many do not realise how much tension they subject their hands to. They’re handworking and we must not take them for granted. Try these few massages techniques to help tone down the tension. I do it all the time.

1) Stroke the back of your hand, pushing firmly up toward the wrist and gliding back gently. Squeeze the hand all over, pressing in between your palm and your fingers

2) Squeeze each finger all over and make circular pressures over the joints with your thumb. Then hold the finger at its base and pull it gently to stretch it, sliding your grip up the finger and off the tip

3) Turn your hand over and support the back with your fingers. Do firm circular and static pressurs with your thumb, working all over the palm and around the wrists.

4) End the massage while applying a hand lotion to them.

San Diego day spas

If you are looking for a place to unwind after a long day at work at the San Diego area, you might want to consider going to a salon or spa. I blog for more than 12 hours a day, and given the choice, i’d love to visit some San Diego day spas. A friend recommended Ephesus Salon and Spa which is located on 127, West University Avenue, San Diego, CA92103. She’s been there before and tells me they provide services like manicures, pedicures, massages and facials. Sounds good to me. If i ever go to San Diego one day, i’ll definitely check it out.
