How to use a knife safely

I’ve always been afraid of knives when i was young. My mom is a good cook and she taught a few of these tips on how to use a knife.

1) Dont cut with the edge toward you or your fingers. The blade can easily cut you should you slip. And do take note where it is pointing at. Make sure it’s not headed in your direction.

2) Never leave sharp knives loose in the drawer. Apart from ruining their sharp edges, anyone can just cut and hurt themselves easily when they reach into the drawer.

3) And never ever leave the knife with it’s sharp edge pointing upwards when not using. Someone may just accidentally lay their hand on it and cut themselves badly.

Online Pharmacy Scams

This was what happened to a friends of mine. She was diagnosed with a disease when she went for her yearly body checkup. Her doctor prescribed her some medications and told her where she can buy them from. She went online and got them from an online pharmacy instead. Those medications she bought turned out to be fakes and her health deteriorated as a result. By the time she went to see her doctor again, she nearly died.

That goes to show how unreliable online pharmacies can be if one is not careful. Of course, not all online pharmacies are the bad guys. If you come across one which you suspect may be a scam site, you can report them. This will in turn safe people’s lives when they buy from them. It’s imperative that you Research your pharmacy at Online Pharmacy Scams before you buy any form of medications. It’s your health that’s at stake here.

Never skimp on renovation works

My friend me up just now with horrifying news that the roof of the kindy her daughter goes to collapsed right before school opened. Thank god no one was there. I cannot imagine what a disaster it’ll turn out to be should it happened during classes. It turned that the school hired an unlicensed contractor to carry out the extension works for the new classes.

How irresponsible. I hope the school gets maximum penalty for this. It doesnt pay to skimp on things like this. We’re talking about lives here. Yes, lives of other people’s children in their care. If they had hired their contractor from OnCallContractor, none of this would have happened. Their commercial and residential general contractors have been prescreened to ensure that they are skilled to handle any construction project. In order for a contractor to join their network, they have to participate in a strict review and application process. All of their contractors have to be licensed and insured.

If you are considering any form of renovation projects or just looking for a residential general contractor, do check out OnCallContractors for more information.
